Come, let’s move!

Hello and welcome to the Jenny Project!

I created this collection of movement stories over the last 20 years of teaching dance. They are my passion. My stories provide a way for children to move their bodies without feeling bound to a set of rules. I created these stories as a way for kids to use their imaginations, boost their self-confidence, and explore their coordination. Full of rich vocabulary and descriptive imagery, these stories are sure to have your children moving!  For some movement ideas and suggestions, watch the accompanying sample videos.

A Day at the Museum

We enter the art museum, explore its halls, and magically bring the museum to life as we move through it with our imaginations!

“Jenny’s ‘A Day at the Beach’ story was really fun to use in my creative movement class, and my students loved it! The story and music together provide rich detail while leaving lots of room for imagination. I love that the story provides opportunities for gross motor movement, like jumping into the water and rolling in the sand, as well as pantomiming packing our beach bags and building sand castles. Highly recommend for anyone looking for engaging ways to get kids moving and imaginations soaring!”
